About Me
Hello!! My name is Ianthe, it's greek and means "violet flower" :)
Who are you, anyway?
I'm a 23 year old genderfluid woman. I use She/They pronouns. I identify as Asexual/Panromantic and I have a significant other <3
Genderfluid Woman?
Yes! I'm genderfluid, but my gender is only ever female or non-binary (Some people online use the term Genderfae I've heard). Point is I'm never male, so in my day to day I'm just seen as a woman and that's cool with me :>
What do you like to do?
When I'm not at work I like to spend time on Discord, playing games, making music, or working on my projects. I don't really watch TV at all, and I'm out of the loop when it comes to most movies! But I do watch Youtube or Twitch on my other monitor while I work on my projects.
Which games do you like to play?
I mostly play Nintendo Games, as I own a switch. I love mario, splatoon, zelda, etc. I also play Minecraft, Rocket League, and Tabletop Simulator. My steam library is relatively small, but I like it that way (Linked in the sidebar). As for consoles I own, I have: Switch, Wii U, PS3, PS2, 2DS, 3DS, GBA-SP, GBA, and of course a PC. I use Linux on my PC so most of my steam games have to work with Proton too.
So you make music?
I have dabbled with music production software since July of 2022, starting with Ardour. Most recently I've begun to move to FL Studio on a virtual machine of Windows. I mostly have made songs that are chill, ambient and kinda simple in the past but I'm hoping to spice things up in the future as I learn FL studio.
What kinda music do you listen to?
Since I was 13 I explored Electronic Dance Music, through Monstercat. I tended to avoid "harder" genres such as Dubstep for a while but some stuff from those genres I've come around to over the years. I mostly enjoy Future Bass, Nu Disco, House, Breaks, Electro, and Chillout genres. My favorite artists (in no particular order) are Glacier, WRLD, and Notaker. Their music has changed my life. As for non-EDM, I love lo-fi music and videogame soundtracks a ton. Also my boyfriend (33rd Cable) got me into more RnB, Hip-hop and Rap.
Why all the projects?
I like to be busy! It keeps my brain satisfied. And well, it's just plain fun. The idea of leaving some sort of legacy behind, however tiny it is, has also been a huge motivator behind the amount of projects I work on.
